About the Author

Hi. I’m Libby.

If you’re here, something likely sparked your curiosity.
Yay!

I grew up in a wild place, full of freedom and long stretches of time outdoors.

I didn’t always recognize how much that shaped me.
Like most things, it took time.

Over the years, through the good, the sad, the challenging, and the joyful,
I’ve found myself returning to those early ways of noticing,
seeing them differently each time.

In many ways, this feels like a return.

I do this work, in part for myself, to create the kind of world I want to thrive in.

I’ve spent years learning and teaching mind-body practices, observing and listening to stories of how people experience themselves and the world around them.

My background includes speech and hearing sciences and an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health, though more and more, my work has moved toward the poetic and the not yet defined.

I’m drawn to liminal spaces, the ineffable, the imagined, and what might become.

Honeysuckle Hugs grew from that place and continues as a creative collaboration with artist Renée Fox.

Right now, it lives here as stories, simple activities, and small ways of noticing.

Some of that extends into my Substack writing, where these ideas unfold a little more openly.

I’m interested in what’s felt before it’s explained, and in connection that doesn’t require performance.

There’s more taking shape, just not in a hurry.
